Ah, don’t we love it when Outlander Starz releases a new vid with even more glimpses of the most anticipated show of 2014 – if not ever, aye? And to that, I added NEW PHOTOS at end of this post and in the gallery to the right [labeled NEW PIC’s].
Outlander the series, based on the novel by Diana Gabaldon, is ever closer. While the UK still does not have their premiere date, we all have our fingers crossed it will be announced soon – and for every other country who is eagerly awaiting the show.
While we wait for August 9th [July 25th for a few hundred lucky red-carpet-going fans], we have yet another featurette to savor – this one starring our very own Diana Gabaldon and Ron D. Moore, talking about the novel to series adaptation.
Lots of behind-the-scenes footage of Ms. Gabaldon’s visit to the set earlier this year and never-before-seen scenes are included. Can we ever get enough? Don’t think so. Enjoy! And thanks again, Outlander Starz.
And now for the fun part – at least, for me. Here, Ms. Gabaldon knows how to wield a sword and a dirk, and she isn’t afraid to show it.
Diana Gabaldon (author of the Outlander series) has some fun in the Outlander armory.
In Australia’s SOHO trailer, we see much of Jamie’s softer/protective side. In this new sneak peek, we are gifted with more visions of him as a warrior. Not sure which is more droolable.
The lovely and mysterious Geillis Duncan makes an appearance, giving us a precious (no doubt, misleading) look.
Jamie doesn’t only know how to fight and kiss, but he knows how to play. Here he is outside rough-housing it with some fellow MacKenzies.
Jamie and Claire ride across the plains of Scotland next. Where are they going? Lallybroch, perhaps?
The featurette also includes new close up new shots of our lovely Claire Randall/Beauchamp (Caitriona Balfe) in 1945 and 1743.
And how can we leave without another “Awkward Moment” which just happens to be my favorite new scene in the trailer.
This seems to be a scene of Jamie and Claire riding out with Dougal and company in the episode “The Rent.” There’s our fierce-looking Claire. Do we hear wedding bells in the distance?
Who’s heart is not going to burst during this steamy scene? Mine will!
Ah, Claire Randall as a World War II combat nurse. I could watch an entire series of just that!
Black Jack Randall is sure to become the #1 cinematic villian. Look out Joker.
