Earlier this week, Just Jared posted several fantastic pictures of Sam Heughan. They showed yet another side of the talented actor we’ve all come to love as James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser. How could it not inspire me to create something new?

What’s makes Sam Heughan so sexy? It’s not just his looks, but the way he looks at Caitriona Balfe and especially the way he makes Jamie Fraser look at Claire.

A year ago, neither actor knew each other, most likely had never even heard each other’s name. Now, they are best of friends, and their affinity and respect for each other shows in every interview and picture – despite the incessant teasing. How lucky are we Outlander Starz found them, and they found each other?

Tonight’s the night they come alive for millions of new fans. Soon the entire world will be in love with Claire and Jamie and Caitriona and Sam. Dinna fash! There’s plenty of room for more.

Personally, I’m prepared to start a collection of magazines with our favorite couple gracing the covers. Congratulations to them on their big debut tonight – and especially to Tall Ship Productions’ Executive Producers Ron D. Moore & Maril Davis, Costume Designer Terry Dresbach, and of course, Author Diana Gabaldon for creating the amazing world of Outlander for us.

For those few of you who don’t know (lol), Outlander premieres tonight on Starz at 9:00 PM sharp. Be sure to catch Ron D. Moore’s podcast to hear his commentary on Episode #101: SASSENACH.
