Today, Sam Heughan (star of the fabulous new original series Outlander based on the novel by Diana Gabaldon) took time out of his very busy shooting and drinking schedule to answer our questions via twitter. Well, he didn’t answer any of mine, but I understand . . . Guess I wasn’t witty enough. Oh, well. I enjoyed the show anyway. If you missed it or want to relive the fastest tweeting you’ve ever seen – I’ve posted them in order below.
We’ve always known Mr. Heughan is a professional tease, and he didn’t disappoint during his twitterview, especially when asked what he wears under his kilt. I’ll let you read his answer for yourself.
My personal favorite of his responses is “I’m soooooooo blonde #AskOutlander #BlondesHaveMoreFun” because I can’t imagine him as anything other than a ginger any more – despite his twitter picture below. Wonder why he’s not a blond there? Hm. I wish I’d asked.
Normally, I restrict my personal comments to Jamie Fraser, but it was Sam Heughan on the other end of that twitter session, so . . . Let’s review, shall we?
Blond-haired Sam Heughan . . . cute. Would probably look twice.
Dark-haired Sam Heughan . . . very nice – hot, actually. Would most definitely look twice, maybe three times or more – especially with those brilliant blue eyes.
Ginger-haired Sam Heughan . . . gawah. (Is that a word? It is now!) Can’t take my dark brown eyes away. Some day, he’ll let the ginger grow out – as soon as Season 1 shooting completes, most likely. [Yay! We have a Season 2!] Until that time, we get to feast our eyes on Jamie Fraser come-to-life. Now, when do we get a live-tweet session with JAMMF? How much fun would that be?
